Brenda Gail Atkinson, age 62, passed in peace at DCH on April 26, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Dewayne Atkinson, parents Betty Jo Robertson and Clarence Johnson, and sister Martha Sue Johnson. Gail was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Gail is survived by a daughter Christy Edwards, a grandson Cole Edwards (Hannah), two brothers, Lenny Johnson (LaVetta) and Ricky Johnson (Doris) along with many nieces and nephews she adored. To know Gail was a blessing, she will be greatly missed by the ones who knew her.
