It is with great sadness the family of Brenda Gale Lovelady Pate announce her passing on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. A lifelong Montevallo resident, Brenda was born on June 27, 1948 to Johnny and Gerry Lovelady and retired from University of Montevallo after 18 years of service. She is survived by her children Kristie Butler (Bill), Doug Pate (Kerri), Heather Thrash (Brian). Brenda was very proud of her grandchildren Savannah (Kevin), John (Holly), Jake, Sawyer, Ella, Emma, and great grandson Layne. She also leaves behind a host of friends. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021 2 pm at Montevallo Cemetery.
