Chance Kamden Knight Mizzell Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Chance Kamden Knight Mizzell, age 25 of Woodstock, passed away unexpectedly on July 3, 2022. Chance was born on April 14, 1997 and was loved by all that knew him. Chance is the son of Jay and Becky Mizzell (Woodstock). Chance graduated West Blocton High School in 2015 and then attended Shelton State Community College. Chance went on to work for Consolidated Pipe & amp; Supply from 2017-2019 and then opened his own business, The Truth Hemp in McCalla, AL. In 2020, Chance excitedly started a local food delivery service for the Woodstock, West Blocton, Vance, Greenpond, Coaling, Million Dollar Lakes, and Hwy 13 areas called BFED. Chance is preceded in death by his great- grandmother, Lela Rotenberry; grandfathers, Robert J. Knight Jr., and James T. Mizzell Sr. In addition to his parents, Chance is survived by his sister, Chaylee Mizzell, brother, Chace Mizzell; grandmothers, Sarah Knight, and Mary Mizzell; dog, Sadie; along with a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Chance was easy to love. Chance never met a stranger. Chance had a huge heart; he loved his family, friends, and Sadie. Chance had a passion for guns, X-Box, Guitar Hero, Dave & Buster’s, and anything to do with computers. Chance loved Beef O’Brady’s, The Rainforest Café and Cheesecake Factory. You could always count on Chance if you needed anything, and he will forever be missed. Celebration for Chance will be on Saturday, July 9 th at McCalla Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at 9:30 am with services starting at 11:00 am. Jay and Becky have asked that Chance’s friends and family speak during the service and share their favorite memory and/or goodbye’s. Private graveside service will be at Hopewell Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in West Blocton, AL.
