Cheryl Ann Christian, 77 of Tuscaloosa, ALpassed away peacefully in her home on New Year’s Day (January 1) 2021with family present. Cheryl was born on January 26, 1944 in Mobile, AL. She is the daughter of Anna Laura (Shinholster) Christian and Lemuel Randolph Christian of Tuscaloosa. Cheryl was a 1962 graduate of Holt High School and leaves behind two sons: Scott Allen Shattuck and his wife, Anita ofBrookwood, ALand Michael Byron Shattuck of Birmingham. Cheryl was the middle-child of two siblings: the late Ronnie Christian and Cathy Marie (Christian)Jarman and her husband, Buffof Tuscaloosa. Cheryl has one Grandson: Brandon Scott Shattuck and wife, Justice. She enjoyed spending time with her new Great-Grandson, Tripp and looked forward to spending time with her second Great-Grandson, Trevor. Her career spanned sixteen years at Jim Walter Resources and enjoyed retirement for nearly 25 years. Cheryl was an avid dog-lover and fantastic cook. Graveside services will be Wednesday January 6th at 2:30, Davis Creek Baptist Church in Griffin Ridge, AL.
