Christine C.. Johnson

November 29, 1961 - March 4, 2021

Christine Johnson, 59, went on ahead of her family on the morning of March 4th, 2021. Her passing was peaceful in the familiarity of her own home in Hoover, Alabama. To those closest to her, she was known as a constant source of joy and gentleness. Her affinity for kids and her love of Christ were also evident to all who met her. She is survived by her husband Aubrey along with her three children: Ashley (Brant), Ben, and Will. She was born November 29th, 1961 to Steve and Joan Cox as the eldest of four. She had two sisters, Julie and Ann, as well as her brother Steve. Being a mother and wife were some of her proudest roles. She also served as a dear friend, nanny, teacher, and follower of the Lord. Her family will be holding a family-only funeral to honor her memory. This will be followed by an open house celebration of life ceremony for all who loved her on Saturday, March 13th at 4:00 pm. It will take place at Lake Crest Presbyterian Church, 560 Lakecrest Dr, Hoover AL, 35226. “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone.
