Clarence E. Murphree Jr.

January 8, 1928 - February 18, 2020

Served in the US AirForce before becoming a Husband and a Father and he served his country with pride. He was a hard working, loving, and supportive husband, father and grand father who was always encouraging a bright future for his children and grand children. He was loved by everyone that knew him and was very active within the church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Clara Bell Murphree; sister, Marjean Brasher. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Maxine Murphree, children Eric Murphree, Karen Smith and Leslie Pody. Grandkids Nicole Tatum, Dylan Pody, Collin Pody, Chandler Pody, Loren Murphree and Natalie Murphree. Great grandkids Cohen Tatum and Ansleigh Tatum. Visitation will be Friday, February 21, 2020 from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at McCalla Memorial Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2020 at 11 AM at Valhalla Cemetery.
