Marilyn Todd Bell went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday December 10th, 2021. Ms. Bell, Marilyn, Mimi (as she was referred to by her grandchildren), was born on December 15, 1945 to Vera Todd Stewart and Tony Todd. Ms. Bell is proceeded in death by her father, William Tony Todd; mother, Vera Stewart; step-father, Bill “Pappy” Stewart; her husband of 42 years, Henry Douglas Bell; daughter, Lynne Cartee; granddaughter, Marilyn D. Cartee. Ms. Bell is survived by her daughter, Toni Pearson (Joe); son, Michael (Cindy); grandchildren April Whalen (Brandon), CJ Cartee, Jeremy Cartee, Trevor Bell, and Harper Bell; great-grandchildren Bayton and Cheynne Whalen; and brother Roger D. Todd (Linda). She married early in her life and loved being a wife and mother to her three children. As her children became married adults, she loved their spouses as her own. She immensely enjoyed becoming a grandmother and took great joy in spoiling all of her grandchildren. Ms. Bell was a longtime employee of and retired from Deaton Truck Lines. She was a longtime member of Sparks Gap Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and sang in the church choir over the years. Ms. Bell, “MiMi” will be missed greatly by her children, grandchildren, and family. A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, December 14th, 2021, with visitation from 1:00 PM -2:00 PM, service in the chapel at 2:00 PM, and graveside service at Highland Memorial Gardens. Rev.
