William Robin Fowler

October 18, 1950 - March 2, 2022

William Robin Fowler age 71 born Oct.18, 1950 went home to be with the Lord on March 2, 2022. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran who served as a medic in the United States Army. He received a Purple Heart for injuries he received from a grenade blast while on patrol in Vietnam. Robin worked at U.S. Steel for many years and was a manager at Richards Market until retirement. He was a wonderful Dad, Grandfather and Brother who was loved by all. He will always be remembered for his bravery, strong work ethic, and compassion for others. He attended Arnolds Chapel Methodist Church and lived in Bluff Ridge his entire life except while serving in the Army. Robin is preceded in death by: Mother Claudia Fowler Father K.V. Fowler Wife Audrey Fowler Grandson Austin Rainey Sisters Carolyn Meadows and Barbara Marler Brother Wayne Fowler He is survived and will be greatly missed by: Daughters: Candi Fowler (Matt), Christi Fowler Sons: Scottie Fowler (Charlotte), Brandon Fowler (Kelly) 8 Grandkids 6 Great Grands Sisters: Nellie Faye Hamerick, Wanda Cobb (Virgil), Linda Bearden (Edward), Gwen Johnson (Roger), Donna Cone (Joseph) Brother: Edward Fowler Host of nieces, nephews, cousins as well as numerous friends. Services will be held at McCalla Funeral home followed by burial at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama. Bro. Keith Cobb will be officiating.
