Esther Frances Lyle

Esther Frances Lyle was born on October 3, 2022 in St. Petersburg, FL. After a traumatic pregnancy and birth that caused critical injuries to her brain and body, she found her forever home when she was adopted by Caleb and Hope Lyle at 10 days old. They fought tirelessly to give her the life she deserved, one of dignity and love, friendship and the joy of just being a kid. She loved flowers, was a top notch baby doll mama and a friendly, waving greeter at her church, Tannehill Valley Baptist. She loved for her daddy to read books to her, and her list of completed novels, all listened to with rapt attention, was impressive for someone of any age. She immensely enjoyed her therapists and friends at The Bell Center and United Ability and was working hard to learn new skills every day. Her determination and grit for someone so small, as well as her expressions of the purest form of love, kept her family, including her wonderful big brother Emir, utterly devoted to her. 2026 has been a very difficult year for Esther, but God stepped in and answered our prayers for healing on July 2nd when she went from sleeping in bed with her mama to running through fields of flowers in heaven with Jesus. Esther is survived by her parents Caleb and Hope Lyle and her brother Emir; grandparents Scott and Rebekka Lyle and Shayne and Christie Tucker; great-aunt Renae Lyle; great-grandparents Sharon and Larry Majors, Russell and Brenda Lyle, Charles and Janice Moore, and James and Gail Tucker; great-great grandmother Dolores Odom; and a host of cousins, aunts and uncles, biological family members who enjoyed watching her grow, and loving friends who became family. She is preceded in death by great-great grandfather Bob Odom, great-uncle Danny Tucker, great-great grandmother Frances Moats, and great-great aunt Debbie Carroll, who shared her earthly burden of significant disability and was the first to meet her at heaven's gates. Her celebration of life service will be at Tannehill Valley Baptist Church on Monday, July 6, with visitation at 1:00 and service at 2:00. The family requests that in honor of Esther's love of books, bring their favorite children's book or YA novel to be made into Esther's Library at Garrett's Place foster care resource center.
